Former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, who joined a delayed report on a Democratic presidential bid last week, reportedly canceled the campaign event on Wednesday evening when only two people appeared.
Patrick was scheduled to speak at Morehouse College in Atlanta; Wednesday night is a historic black male college not far from the Democratic presidential debate. The event was organized by students from New Deal Democrats.

The student organization told ABC News that it was only 24 hours' notice about the event and that the campaign canceled because Patrick was late for another event and had to catch a flight.
The campaign added that Haslett will reschedule its visit to Morehouse.
Patrick, November 14 in February, the first vote in New Hampshire.
It's not the first time Patrick has had trouble filling a room. New York Times correspondent Jennifer Medina tweeted a photo of an almost empty room at another event Monday.

Both Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg have historically spoken at the black college. Bernie Sanders is scheduled there on Thursday.
