Amazon expands its Apple product range

Seattle / Cupertino, California (APA / Reuters) – Amazon is expanding the delivery of Apple products. Shortly before the start of the Christmas business, two US technology competitors agreed to expand previously limited co-operation. The world's largest online retailer was announced on Friday to sell future versions of the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and other devices in the US, Europe, Japan and India in the coming weeks.

So far, Amazon offers a limited number of Apple products such as Mac computers and headphones Beats. But not included in the new offer, Amazon's online counterpart, Echo and audio service is Alexa's current speaker, HomePod.

Other US technology names, such as Amazon, Apple, and Google, have little collaboration power due to the supply of competing devices and services. However, Amazon and Apple have now surpassed these differences to boost sales in key retail times of the year. The new partnership also shows that Amazon's market power has increased its importance for the best brands, such as Apple and Nike, who are opposed to distributing their products through the online retailer for a long time.

At the same time, Amazon is more difficult to counterfeit branded products. In addition, from January 4, Amazon removes third-party Apple products from the offer that was not available for sale by the iPhone manufacturer. However, customers should continue to purchase free accessories, such as headphones, in the Internet shop that is compatible with Apple devices.
