Space X flies the next group of astronauts to the moon – targets 2024 | Teeth



Private space company Space X will build the next US rocket to land on the moon. The preliminary goal is for two astronauts to land on the moon in three years with the new spacecraft. A human last visited the moon in 1972.

Space X company of billionaire Elon Musk will be building the US landing vehicle next month. The company won the acquisition of the US space agency NASA. The company wrote in a press release that the deal was worth $ 2.9 billion.

In December, Nasa selected 18 astronaut candidates. Four of them will be allowed to go into space, two of them will be allowed to spend a week a month. According to Nasa, it should be a woman. The goal is for the moon landing to happen by 2024.

Moon travel is part of NASA’s ongoing project under the name Artemis. The aim of the project is to place itself on the Moon in the long run and eventually send the astronauts to March. Space X, founded by Elon Musk, previously collaborated with Nasa and has been successful. Last year, Space X became the first private company to transport crew members to the International Space Station ISS.

Jeff Bezos, another billionaire who founded Amazon, also joined NASA’s procurement, but lost to Elon Musk’s company. However, Nasa ensures that more interested players are needed in the future because the traffic to the moon will now start properly.
