Launch of the 2018-2019 edition on Tuesday


For the re-programming of CAN in June-July, the 2018/19 African Champions League starts on Tuesday. For the new edition of the Champions League, 52 teams will be at the start line.

Almost 15 days after the rally in Esperance Tunis, the African Champions League is already taking up their rights on this Tuesday and the start of the 2018/19 edition on Wednesday. Due to the programming of the next CAN in June and July, the beginning of the event has progressed. Four teams – Al-Ahly (Egypt), AS Vita Club (DRC), TP Mazembe (RDC) and WAC Casablanca (Morocco) will participate in 26 qualifiers in 16 games. Esperance Tunis, the owner of the cup, will go directly into the group stage.
