Christie's auction auctions in Geneva next week will have a rare 19 gauge pink diamond, which is expected to produce up to $ 50 million.

Rectangular diamond, according to Christie's auction, is the largest pink diamond in the auction. The diamond, nicknamed "Pink Legacy", belongs to the family of Oppenheimer, who has long ruled De Beers, the world's diamond industry until the end of the 1950s.

Despite the estimated $ 30-50 million price, Christie expects to attract private buyers from Asia. One of the distinguishing features of this brilliant pink diamond is the rectangular shape, which is often used with white diamonds and makes it unique.

In recent years, because the prices of blue and pinkish gemstones broke the record in the auction, colored diamonds became very popular.
