Muscat Securities Market (MSM) increases 1.02 percent at end of Thursday session



The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) increased by 1.02% to 449.34 points to 45.28 points.

Today, the general index led to an increase in the leading shareholding of 8.65% of the island serving to the island and an increase of Enver's ceramics to 6.33%.

The sectors leading the day became 7,71% of the shares and were directed by 7 shares. Majan College rose 8.37% and Omantel up 5.03%.

Al Wataniya fell 1.82%.

The industrial sector increased by 0.64%, supported by 4 shares, Raysut Cement rose by 1.97% and the Oman increased by 1.32%.

Financial sector index increased by 0.53%, 9 shares, Al Batinah Investment increased by 3.45% and Al Madina Investment increased by 2.5%.

The current trade volume fell by 17.01 million shares compared to 20.33 million shares in the previous session, and the trading value fell 2.6 million riyals compared to 4.25 thousand riyals on Wednesday.

While Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles was the most active trading activity with 4.62 million shares, Bank Muscat was worth 555.98 SAR.

Total market capitalization of securities was RMB 18.383 billion ($ 852.515 billion), down 0.378 percent compared to RRL 18.314 billion ($ 47.457 billion) on Wednesday.
