A court in Switzerland has banned the Nord Stream gas pipeline Nord Stream AG and Nord Stream 2 AG to make a payment to Gazprom, the company in which it operates. RIA Novosti was reported.
Or As a result of the ban, all payments made to Gazprom from these companies are being sent to Swiss civil servants,. The statement said.
This decision is stated at the request of Naftogaz, within the framework of the interim measures. The Russian company, Nord Stream AG and Nord Stream 2 AG, said their attempts to arrest shares have so far failed.
Earlier on November 6, Fitch analysts set a rating for a Ukrainian company, noting that Naftogaz had no chance of winning $ 2.6 billion from Gazprom in February by the Stockholm arbitral tribunal.
The dispute between Naftogaz and Gazprom lasted several years. Firms have submitted mutual rights to the Stockholm Arbitration: in violation of the terms of the contract, the non-delivery of gas under the transit agreement and its refusal to purchase. In February of this year, the court partially accepted the demands of both sides. As a result, Gazprom owed Naftogaz $ 2.56 billion. The company has already appealed against this decision.
