Social network Clubhouse will launch an official app for the Android operating system. This was reported on the company’s website.
For about a year, the official app was only available to iOS system users. From May 9, the app will be available to users in the United States, and within a few weeks the social network will launch worldwide.
“Our plan for the next few weeks is to gather community feedback, work on fixing issues we see and adding a few final features,” the company said.
In April, hackers leaked data of 1.3 million users of the Clubhouse social network. Data leaked to the network includes names, surnames, links to photos in profiles, and information about user accounts on other social networks.
Clubhouse is a new social network that can be registered with only one invitation. The service gained worldwide popularity largely due to the interest of celebrities, especially the founder of SpaceX Elon Musk.
