Cellist couldn't bring spare ropes to the plane



There was an unusual situation in Warsaw Chopin Airport. The well-known cellist Amit Peled has forbidden to bring a series of ropes to the plane. Iyor We prioritize security issues, temsil the airport's representative explains.

"For the first time in my airport in Warsaw, I claimed that it was very dangerous to get away from all the ropes and bring them on board" – in an e-mail to Classical FM Radio Amit Peled.

"I always have spare ropes with me, and I'm never asked to give them back.

Everything in accordance with regulations

Piotr Rudzki from the Chopin Airport Department of Public Relations confirmed that this was the case. "The operator of the check of the passenger's hand luggage has indicated that there are cello wires that are described as prohibited goods in accordance with the regulations," – reads to the editor in the e-mail.

. After questioning the possibility of having cello arrays on board, the operator in charge of the security check suggested the passenger to put the passenger over and over again in the baggage he did not accept, ünden he said.

"We are very sorry that such a situation occurred in our airport, but we consider security issues as a priority," Rudzki said.

Amit Peled was a guest at Krzysztof Penderecki Festival. During the opening concert Cello played Concerto II. The festival program, which was entirely prepared by Elżbieta Penderecka, gave ten concerts including seven symphonic and three chamber concerts.
