Singer-songwriter and actress Hailed Steinfeld is now set to portray a young Emily Dickinson. This 19th century comedy series will tell the story of the iconic American poet. It's been written by Alena Smith, most-known for The Newsroom and The Affair. The show will explore not only Dickinson's journey to adulthood, but also give us a glimpse of her relationship with “sister-in-law” Susan Gilbert.

Spencer plays the role of True Crime podcaster Poppy Parnell, who now needs to investigate the case of a serial killer Warran Cave (Paul) who has been jailed for a murder.
