PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte said Monday one-fourth ”of pain in his lower back, Malacañang said on Monday, October 28th.
The President, 74, later confirmed that the pain was more tolerable as he was able to walk straight in public.
Duterte consulted a neurologist on October 23, less than 24 hours after cutting his trip to Japan because of the pain, which he had described then as unbearable.
Duterte was diagnosed with “muscle spasms, advis and was advised to limit his physical activities and take some pain relievers.

“In other words, there was a great easing of pain,” he added.
Panelo said the 74-year-old President is still taking pain relievers, but can now use the treadmill.
