KUALA LUMPUR: Police will seek a cosmetics entrepreneur to testify for allegedly violating movement restrictions under the national bailout plan.
Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood, deputy chief of police for Petaling Jaya district, said the police received a report on the matter at 4 pm today.
He said a screenshot showing the 34-year-old entrepreneur eating durian with several others went viral yesterday.
“The cosmetics entrepreneur is a well-known celebrity and has a large following on social media,” she said in a statement today.
Ku Mashariman advised the public to continue to abide by movement restrictions and exercise caution when posting any statements or content on social media to avoid creating speculation that could disrupt public order.
