After that, the activities of the festival began with film screenings and symposiums for awards, including Egyptian actress Nadia El-Gendy, Egyptian actor Mohy Ismail and Egyptian actor Samir Sabry.

In its tenth session, Samir Sabry expressed his happiness to be honored by the festival, emphasizing the importance of African cinema, and emphasized that there are those who remember him for this honor and feel that his art and media career is not in vain.

Artist Mahmud Hamida said: “I watched the films of Samir Sabry long ago and added song and media elements to his representative activity, and I would follow him when he spoke in public forums or seminars and other things he just saw him radiate joy and the history of cinema and Arabic songs. “He is a non-Arab, very broad culture, but on a personal level he filled my life with joy and optimism.”
