Long lines were also observed in the clothing store Pepco stores located outside of large shopping centers. According to the information on the Pepco website, 22 Pepcos will be open throughout Latvia starting Wednesday, but four more will be opened starting Friday, April 9.

LETA reported that from Wednesday, all stores except shopping centers with an area of ​​more than 7,000 square meters can be opened, while in shopping centers, stores that were not allowed to operate before are not allowed to distribute distance. wednesday goods. This is envisaged in the government’s decision on April 1, to resume shop activities outside of malls from April 7.

Distribution of goods purchased remotely at delivery points is still not prohibited if they are located outside of shopping malls.

In addition to street sales, shops in shopping centers with a total sales area of ​​less than 7,000 square meters can be organized on the site.

At the same time, only food, hygiene, animal feed and optical goods stores, pharmacies, bookstores and service outlets will continue their activities in shopping centers that exceed 7,000 square meters.
