UK broadcaster ITV has said it has no plans to show another season of Simon Cowell’s entertainment juggernaut. X factor.
The song contest would return for a 16th season as part of a deal Cowell signed with ITV in 2019, but plans changed as the two sides turned their attention to other projects.
An ITV spokesperson said: “There are currently no plans for the next series. X factor At this stage.” The statement is not conclusive regarding the show’s cancellation and offers some wiggle room should the situation change.
