Arika, the Japanese video game developer and publisher, announced that it will publish Fighting the EX Layer: Another Line On Nintendo Switch in 2021.
The original version of this game was first released on PlayStation 4 in 2018 and has since ported to multiple devices. It is considered a spiritual continuation The Challenge Layer (1998) as well Street Fighter EX series (1996).
Arika says Another Dash will be “different” from the current Fighting EX Layer version. Characters have been adjusted, movements have been revised, and new combat systems have been installed. This also includes the different network code.
Here is a statement courtesy of Gematsu:
“Fighting the EX Layer: Another Line It uses the interrupt network code based on the delay network code. Since the input lag is hidden as variable frames for several frames, in the case of excessive delays, the position of the character can be corrected. Sometime after its release, Arika hopes to replace the network code with the “Best of Both Games” net code, which is currently in the testing phase and is based on the rollback network code. “
More on Fighting EX Layer: Another Dash for Nintendo Switch will be shared on April 1.
