Judi Love hails ‘sacrifice’ of late parents
Loose Women star Judi Love said on Strictly Come Dancing that the pageant would give her deceased parents “peace of mind for all they sacrificed.”
The TV presenter revealed that her parents had moved from the West Indies to the UK, but her mother later died in 2009 after battling dementia, and her father died during the pandemic.
The 41-year-old actor said: “I think my father and mother would have been very proud that they both died.
“I think my mom would probably like to dance with Graziano and she would like some of those beautiful dresses. And I think they’ll just be proud and honored.
“Like any parent, traveling here from the West Indies, whatever your background, you hope that the next generation can do more than you, and I think that would probably give them peace of mind. for everything they sacrificed for.”
When asked if he was definitely part of the healing process, he said: “I think it definitely definitely helps people go through this process. I think it’s something people can connect with.
“And for me, personally, I’m very open about emotions and really honest with myself about what you’re feeling and how you’re feeling, and I’m looking for that help.”
