South Sumatra Police Inspector General Eko Indra 6 Hours Investigated On Rp2T Grant From Akidi Tio After Heri Apologizes

PALEMBANG, KOMPAS.TV – The Police Inspection and Special Investigation Team (Wasriksus), headed by Chief Inspector Agung Wicaksono, examined the South Sumatra Police Chief (Sumsel) Inspector General Eko Indra Heri for about six hours on Thursday, 5/8/2021.

The review is the Rp 2 trillion promised by the late Akidi Tio’s family as his whereabouts are unclear.

Kombes Supriadi, Head of Public Affairs of the South Sumatra Police, said the inspection was carried out by the internal police. They were unable to provide further information on the development of the case.

“I can’t comment,” Supriadi said on Thursday (5/8/2021).

Supriadi added that the South Sumatra Police Crime Investigation team will work as much as possible to resolve the issue of grant funds projected to professionally handle Covid-19 in South Sumatra.

Based on field observations, the Wasriksus team examined the South Sumatra Police Chief for about six hours.

The review took place shortly after the Wasriksus team arrived, and the funds went directly to the South Sumatra Police headquarters’ publicity building at 15.15 WIB.

They then left the supporting building of the South Sumatra Police Station around 20:56 WIB.
