Pushing India into an emphatic T20 series, Deepak Chahar won with six wicket vouchers, once again the ball touched with magic by collecting the T20 trio once again within three days. However, contrary to the past, their current heroism came to Rajasthan and fired three Vidarbha fighters from three legal deliveries in a local match on Tuesday at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram, in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Darshan Nalkande, 27-year-old bowler Vidarbha, who spearheaded his side's speed attack, removed Shrikant Wagh and Akshay Wadkar from the 13th consecutive legal delivery. He finished with 4/18 in three players and limited Vidarbha to 99/9 in 13 games.
Deepak Chahar, the bowling player who missed the end of the game, dismissed the player who hit four balls. He removed Rushabh Rathod on the first ball and simultaneously dismissed Nalkande on the fourth ball. The next bowling shot was very wide, but he threw Wagh and Wadkar from his last two balls and once again completed the T20 trio.
On Sunday, Deepak Chahar was the second Indian to claim a T20I hat trick and returned six-seventh in India's third and last T20I match 30 times in Nagpur.
He also recorded the best T20I figures in men's crickets as he passed Ajantha Mendis, who held six wicks for eight runs against Zimbabwe.
Deepak Chahar released Shafiul Islam on the final turn of 18, and then shot Mustafizur Rahman and Aminul twice in the final to lift Islam to complete the hat trick.
Chahar's outstanding performance helped India watch the ensuing series after losing the series opener in New Delhi.
When the Rajasthan bat appeared, a revised target was given in 107 runs out of 13 people. Openers Manender Singh and Ankit Lamp started flying when they added 58 laps in the first four races. Manender quickly scored 44 goals on only 16 balls and had up to six balls, while Lamba managed only 15 runs out of 11.
Rajasthan lost both of his openers in fifth place and never recovered since they lost wickets on a regular basis.
Finally, Rajasthan had 105/8 with 13 goals to score more than 13 goals. Akshay Wakhare had three to 15 for three wins by playing the ball for Vidarbha.
