Wuqiu caught mainland smugglers claiming “they are on their way to freedom” – Community-Zhongshi

72 miles from Kinmen and only 20 miles from the mainland Meizhou Island, Wuqiu, the “remote island of the remote islands,” found a mainland smuggler claiming “freedom” on the night of the 27th. After the shore. patrol and garrison together arrested him, violated Entry and exit laws, immigration laws, and national security laws were transferred to the Kinmen District Attorney’s Office for investigation.

At 20:6 on the night of March 27, Kinmen Coast Guard Wuqiu Security Checkpoint received a notification from the Wuqiu Defense Brigade that a suspected man was found on the south coast of Daqiu and that he had a power buoy. At the scene, the man was found on the edge of the bride’s house at 20:22 and confirmed to be a mainland smuggling ashore.

The coastal patrol announced that the man used a self-made buoy to swim from the Fujian coast to Taiwan. After the arrest, he immediately notified the Disease Control Department of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Jinmen County Health Bureau. It was moved in accordance with the procedures determined by the Central Outbreak Command Center.

The arrested land citizen misses the livelihood and freedom of the Taiwanese people and wants to live in Taiwan. This is the same as previous arrests of smugglers who claim to “keep pace with freedom”. Things on the other hand, whether it’s another secret or not, still await further investigation.
