The season comes to a halt with mobile companies that have offered their best suggestions. Undoubtedly, the best two mobile phones on the market are the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and the Apple iPhone.
We won't even focus on the number of sensors and Megapixels. Huawei is at the top of DxOMark, the Leica branded camera and the P20 Pro, which was launched a few months ago, and the most authoritative site to test mobile imaging capabilities.
The site still didn't show the score of Mate 20 Pro, but we see that the Huawei P20 Pro is at the top with 109 points, and the iPhone XS Max is the second with 105 points. At the same time, we know that the Mate 20 Pro can better use the new wide-angle lens with improved features and functionality.
Huawei said they didn't show the device score on DxOMark because … This means they're sure of the final score of the new device.
From our tests, we found that they have excellent photographic capabilities, both mobile (we tested the iPhone XS, but also Max & # 39; s, but not the same camera), but the Mate 20 Pro is gaining a lot of functions, and extra broad new wide-angle lens capabilities. When we see that we can create real-time effects video, the new Kirin 980 is even more astonished as it uses its features to create a mysterious effect gör even home-made computers specialize in editing!
And we haven't tested the new 3D scan yet …
2. Charge / Autonomy
It is well known that the iPhone is not famous for its autonomy. Apple insists on putting batteries smaller than normal for flags and cannot make a real use day despite good energy management.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes with a 4200 mAh battery with the iPhone XS having a 2658 mAh battery and an iPhone XS Max 3174 mAh. The iPhone XS Max is slightly better than the simple model, even though the 6.5-inch display is used, but it can never be compared to the 1,5-day usage of the Mate 20 Pro.
But the Mate 20 Pro does not end there. The new 40W charger comes with a package of up to 70% in 30 minutes. Not even the fastest iPhone charger in Apple's package, but Huawei hasn't received it yet.
With the included charger, Apple charges around 3 hours in the iPhone XS and around 3.5 in the iPhone XS Max. However, even with faster chargers, the time does not fall below 2 hours.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro offers the first time with reverse wireless charging to put the last nails! You can recharge with the energy of other devices that the Mate 20 Pro is charging …
3. Dual SIM support
We know that this feature is especially popular in our country and more users are looking for it. This year, for the first time, Apple announced the support for dual SIM, as some would run to highlight. But things aren't that simple.
Apple announced dual SIM support using regular micro SIM with eSIM. As you can read from the official Apple site, eSIM can also be used if a service is available from the service provider. At least for now and in the near future, with the support of a single SIM card for Greece's iPhone, a Greek provider does not support this feature.
This can be a decisive factor, even for the purchase of the device. Mate 20 Pro supports Hybrid Dual SIM. It can accept two micro SIM cards or one micro SIM and one nano memory card at the same time. These are new memory cards launched by Huawei to increase your storage space.
4. Biometric Control
Things are pretty clear here. Both devices support 3D Face Scan, which works very well in most cases and is very fast on both devices.
But where Apple doesn't have other biometric controls if it's not right for you, Huawei offers the latest technology with the fingerprint sensor at the bottom of the screen. The Mate 20 Pro is one of the first devices on the market to offer comfort in a very comfortable position just under the screen.
Huawei is a technology that we will see more often in the future and Huawei is available for its flagship, but we don't see it in the new iPhone. This is an expensive technology that definitely increases the price of the device. However, it still has not reached the height of the iPhone. The last point we will endure …
And we arrive at the most important part: the price at which two devices are available. Huawei left behind the 1000-euro barrier for the first time, but still does not coincide with the new iPhone. It offers newer technologies such as a fingerprint sensor and more, and the price remains below the iPhone XS.
In fact, our country is available in a Mate 20 Pro with 128.40 GB of storage space, with a recommended retailer of 1.049 euro. The nearest model with these features is the iPhone XS Max 64GB (with a slightly larger 6.5-inch screen, but half the storage space) of 1,339 Euro. The difference is 290 euros and 22% more. Even the cheapest iPhone XS model (64GB to 5.8 inches) makes a difference of 180 Euro and is 15% more expensive.
Who did you end up?
