Now the worst case has happened. A body of water was found in the Glan river in Odernheim in the Bad Kreuznach region on Monday. According to the police, there is “no reasonable doubt” that the man who died was the missing child in Meisenheim. Authorities notified the boy’s family of the finding.

The police assume they had an accident. There is no indication of any third party debt. Investigators suspect that the boy was drowned – he could not swim. The autopsy should now clarify the exact cause of death.
