This Thursday, heavy thunderstorms and rain rains were given an orange alarm due to severe thunderstorms from Thursday to Friday. The cumulative expected deposits, especially on the shoreline, under fixed storms, are 120 mm locally and between 80 and 100 m.
In the Gard section, the rains will begin in Cevennes until the second half of the night in the Rhone Valley and remain weak.
It will later concentrate on late Friday, with the storm to rise from the Mediterranean to focus on the Gard and Cevennes plains. Several successive passages are possible in the same area and should give a significant amount of precipitation. The rain also strengthens on the outskirts of Cevennes, adding Météo-France.
These storms will eventually pass east on Friday night. Rain deposits will reach 50 to 80 mm in plain and on the outskirts of Cevennes, up to 100 to 120 mm locally. In Cevennes, deposits are between 120 and 150 mm, locally 180 mm.
