The Czech Catholic Church spent 2.87 billion crowns in its main mission, meaning it went into spiritual activity last year. Most of it is a fee. However, this activity is not profitable, the church in this region has resulted in a loss of 486 million crowns. It included the economic activity of diocene having a profit of 498 million kroner.
Economic activities such as income from forestry have a negative impact on climate change, just as church representatives did in recent years. A balanced budget is used to take advantage of building leases and invest in funds.
Karel Matyska, the economic adviser to the Czech Republic, told reporters that the financial investment in the past year was 259 million CZK, which is twice as high as in 2016. The cost of repairs to monuments last year amounted to 725 million, 140 million churches for education and social projects.
Last year, the total expenditure of the Catholic Church exceeded six billion kroner. This was mainly forest management, staff and repair cost. In 2017, the cost of economic activity was 1.6 billion. Even these investments doubled compared to 2016.
Matyska, the revenue amount that the Catholic Church does not fully mention, is 2.4 billion kroner of revenues from spiritual activities; There are donations, contributions, collections or state contributions. In 2017, according to 2016, the number of collections and donations was 82 million kroner and 725 million. Revenues from economic activities last year amounted to 2.1 billion kroner; Total revenues were 4.5 billion kroner.
All parts of the Catholic Church came together, contributing to a total of 1.3 billion CZK pecuniary damage last year and 803 million to the state. The state also adds hundreds of millions of crowns to the church schools established by the Catholic Church, the restoration of monuments and the social space. Matyska said last year the subsidies to the Catholic Church fell from nine million to 657 million.
According to Matyska, the diocese reached 498 million kroner in economic activity; they used it for the loss of spiritual activity and a loss of 486 million. The income tax was paid to the municipality for 67 million kronor and the real estate tax was 57 million kroner. In order to secure future gains for the church when it stopped funding the state, it made real estate investments in diokese, including 987 million kroner forests.
Babis said restitutions exceeded 54 billion dollars. No analysis, only Hašek's speech
While the repayment of pecuniary damage, which is part of the state's compensation with churches, is approximately the same every year, the state contribution falls from year to year. By 2030 to be paid up to 2042 without paying the amount to be paid. Then the church will not take the state or the crown and will not rely on the income of its economy. The state contribution, which is five percent, that is, with the reduction of tens of millions of crowns each year, the church must find compensation for this amount.
