Police raid in the MRD: the main suspect must be Dostálová

On Wednesday, the National Center for Combating Organized Crime (NCOZ) intervened in the Prague center of the Prague Ministry of Regional Development and the headquarters of the Czech Republic in Prague's Vinohrady. The main suspect, according to the E15 server, Minister Klára Dostálová (YES). At a press conference, he confessed to have interfered at the police house.

"I can confirm that criminal proceedings have taken place under the Ministry of Regional Development. There must be evidence that I need to get information first of all." This is not the case. "No one has been charged yet, but there is only evidence for further progress," Ambassador Tomáš Svoboda said.

However, the E15 news portal referred to the police dossier, where editors had the opportunity to consult, saying that the main suspect should be the Regional Development Minister Klára Dostálová. Police allegedly suspected excessive executions of police officers, public officials and subsidies. In 2016, he was obliged to serve as a member of parliament for tourism.

In the afternoon briefing to reporters, Dostalova said the ministry provided the police with maximum synergy. The information on the E15 server said the police had "logic of the incident". The Deputy Minister and the Ministry are also being examined by the person as CzechTourism Agency.

. I also told the police that in the morning there was a kind of morning service in the house. I said, of course, I did everything, took the police and left, çeşit told reporters. However, he said, the police did not answer any questions and that he did not know what the current interference with the Ministry and the Czech Republic was about.

However, Dostálová didn't respond to the description of E15. The head of the department, Karel Šlechtová (ANO), has no further information. "Nobody contacted me. I'll definitely tell you what it is about. Now that I'm not commenting, I have no knowledge," he said.

Intervention at the headquarters of the Czech Republic

In the morning, the News Server List published that the intervention at the headquarters of the Ministry was related to the activities of CzechTourism. According to Radiožurnála, the police also operate in Vinohrady, Prague's headquarters. In 2016, the Supreme Audit Bureau (SAO) filed a criminal offense against the agency in favor of a violation of the obligation to manage foreign assets and the issuance of a public contract.

The SAO claimed the agency was awarded contracts, regardless of whether the competition could be cheaper. For example, it was claimed that he bought legal services without considering whether he had the most advantageous option and that he had not organized competition even when buying tickets. The distribution of exhibition and promotional products also divided the agency into several small-scale contracts, which were rewarded without open competition.

The controllers later announced that they had consistently violated the agency's budget discipline and purchased gift vouchers for spa relaxation stays, for example around 600,000 kroner. The total errors of the SAO are approximately 20 million. At that time, the former Minister of Regional Development in Jan Fischer, the Czech Republic's Rostislav Vondruška, is currently facing a case with the former Director of the Agency's Economics Department.

CzechTourism is a government contribution body under the Ministry of Regional Development. Founded in 1993, its mission is to coordinate the promotion of the Czech Republic, both in Turkey and abroad.
