Patients are also assisted by modern drugs called expensive biological therapy. Thus, according to CTK findings, health insurance companies are strictly checking whether this is prescribed only to patients who can be proved in a way that can be proven.
Data are sent to the registry by 15 centers specialized in the treatment of the disease. "About 75 percent of patients under the age of 65 work and work full-time or part-time. The third depends on disability salary.
According to experts, the difference in incapacity for work often means the type of treatment used. Most biologically treated patients do more than 56 percent of patients and only a quarter of those without it, without social support from the state.
