Ubisoft announced that it plans to rate all of its original games as follows: “Ubisoft Originals” effective immediately.

The video game developer confirmed to Eurogamer that the label will appear in future internal titles. “In the future, ‘Ubisoft Original’ will be added to all Ubisoft games created in-house by our talented developers,” said a Ubisoft spokesperson.

Most importantly, because Ubisoft has historically and currently developed the vast majority of its games in-house, the “Originals” label may suggest the company could potentially be looking for expansion to release third-party games.
