Cuban health institution to host a workshop in Endoscopic Transnasal Surgery
Havana, 26 November (RHC) An international workshop on endoscopic transnasal surgery will continue in the National Minimum Access Surgery Center (CNCMA), a national reference in this field of expertise, from the 30th to the 1st of December this year. .
Chairman of the Organizing Committee Adolfo Hidalgo González said the event was supported by the Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery in Cuba.
At the same time, CNCMA specializes in Otorhinolaryngology, as well as Cuban and foreign experts, they want to update on the principles and basic and advanced techniques of Functional Nazosinusal Endoscopic Surgery.
The main issues to be discussed will be surgical treatment of nasal and sinus diseases including functional endoscopic sinus surgery and paranasal sinus surgery.
These include Endoscopic Medial Maxillotomy of Inverted Papilloma, Endoscopic Resection of Juvenile Nasopharyngeal Angiofibroma and Transsphenoidal Approach of the Gland.
He said he was a pituitary specialist.
The program's design will consist of lectures, and participants said the professors were the head of the organizing committee, using the navigation technologies, in examples of corpses that would enable them to perform demonstration dissections on different techniques.
