Police say the 14-year-old child died, his body was in the Mississauga neighborhood

Peel District police said they were investigating the murder of a 14-year-old boy after his body was found Friday morning near a Mississauga park.

Residents in the area, including Jesse Quintano, said the incident was "traumatized" by people walking in the area.

Carla Pereira, spokesman for the Peel District School Board, will not comment on whether or not the child attends one of their schools, as the police have not yet disclosed their identity.
