Speaking during Sony's quarterly financial conference call, Hiroki Totoki, CFO at Sony, said:
While Mr Totoki didn’t mention any specific games, he added that they’ll be ‘highly-engaging.’

Early rumors suggested that the PlayStation 5’s first games could be either Apex Legends or The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which are both set to launch in 2021.
However, Sony has now confirmed that the console will launch in Holiday 2020, suggesting this isn’t the case after all.
Instead, fresh rumors indicate that the first game could be Dead Island 2, which is set to launch next year.
Mr Totoki’s comments come shortly after Sony
As expected, the console is called the PlayStation 5, and will launch in time for ‘Holiday 2020.’
In a blog about the news, Jim Ryan, President and CEO of SIE, said: “Since we originally unveiled our next-generation console in April, we know that there's been a lot of excitement and interest in hearing games will bring.
“Today I’m proud to share that our next-generation console will be called PlayStation 5, and we’ll be launching in time for Holiday 2020.”
