According to a study at the Research Institute in Canada, your morning coffee can protect you against the development of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. They then identified a group of compounds called phenylindanes, which emerged as a result of the roasting process for the coffee beans. The prevention, or more inhibition, of clusters of the two common protein fragments, which are common in phenylindanes, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, is unique because they are the only compounds that inhibit both beta amyloid and tau.
