32 years ago – in 1986, Bulgarian genius Emil Chakarov, his genius, founded the New Year Music Festival with the ambitious goal of being similar to music festivals in Europe. Mincho Minchev is another big name that is part of the New Year's Music Festival. The world-famous violinist will perform at the festival for the first time since December 2002 on 14 December at the Virtuosos concert. He will be part of Rick Stoatin, the virtuoso bass player, and will be in the hands of chef Chef Emil Tabakov.
Another important concert – this time is one of the most popular names in Bulgarian jazz, on the poster of the festival. The SEMPTONY – JAZZ project (20 December) was created by composer and pianist Angel Zaberski. Mihail Yosifov, Velislav Stoyanov, Martin Tashev, Stoyan Yankulov-Stundji, SkilleR and others.
