The Supreme Court dismissed the former BNP deputy Hafiz İbrahim's application against Bhola-2 for the cancellation of the case of the 100'27 package of gas tragedies opened by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). Previously, the order given to the lower court had been ordered to be destroyed within six months by suspension of the case on trial.
Justice Md. Nazrul Islam Talukder and Court of Justice KM Hafizul Alam decided on Sunday. Advocate Khurshid Alam Khan, lawyer for ACC. Attorney General Mahbub Uddin Khokon, deputy chairman, AKM Amin Uddin Manik and Hafiz Ibrahim were in favor of the state.
On June 13, 2007, the joint forces found 100 bunch relief bodies from three trunks of Hafiz Ibrahim College in Maniram Bazar under the Tola association under Bhola's Borhan Uddin upazila. The case was given to the Burhanuddin Police Station that day. Following the investigation, charges were filed against him on January 18, 2009, by former Minister of Religious Affairs Mosharraf Hossain Shahjahan, Hafiz Ibrahim, SM Gaznavi University director, UP President Jasim Uddin Chowdhury. In this case, the Supreme Court on 1 October 2013 was left to the power of Hafız İbrahim in addition to the case against the Rujari without knowing why the case was to be annulled. He was denied yesterday after the last trial.
It should be noted that the Supreme Court was sentenced to three years in prison and sentenced to a fine of 50 million Tk in the case of property capture.
