Cape Town – funeral service for criminal defense attorney, Pete Mihalik, was held on Saturday. St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Town.

50-year-old Mihalik was shot in the vacant position as he left his children at Reddam House, a private school in Green Point last week.

There was a heavy police presence around the church and many security guards inside.

Mihalik's eight-year-old boy took a bullet wound into his chin. 17-year-old girl in the back seat of the lawyer was not injured.

The gunman fired from the driver's window of Mercedes-Benz in Mihalik. Neighbors reported hearing two gunshots.

Three men have been charged for mihalik's murder.

The state claims that the murder was already done. In the wage office, the State argues that the defendant intentionally killed Mahalik after shooting his head in a firearm, and that the offense was ün charged with acting by a person, group or trade union, or for a common cause Devlet.

There's a lot of speculation about murder. A newspaper reports to Mihalik that a million R1 has been expelled from a prison.

Three years ago, lawyer Mihalik, who went to underground figures, suffered from depression and committed suicide.

The case was postponed to 15 November.
