Mercedes-Benz released a new version of the X-Class double-cabinet baker in the home market of Germany.
As far as we can tell, only this model will be sold in the branches of Munich, Nuremberg, Würzburg and Augsburg. Available in two forms: the four-cylinder X250d 4Matic Power (140 kW and 450 Nm) and the six-cylinder X350d 4Matic Power (190 kW and 550 Nm). Each ship is standard with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
X² model suspension upgrade, walking ground clearance 300 mm (100 mm more than the standard model offered in Germany and 80 mm higher than the version we received in South Africa). This not only improves the off-farm capabilities of the automobile manufacturer, but also provides space for larger tires with standard matte black alloys wrapped in the rubber-on-the-go Baja STZ 265/60 R18 from X²'s Mickey Thompson.
The Stuttgart-based carmaker says the X² is available in a choice of 100 colors, with glossy, matt, metallic, brushed metal and carbon coatings. If you order your X-Class in one of them, the ton interesting ”new tones are preparing to give you an extra € 165 (ie about R67 000).
Various accessories are available, such as a design bar for a special printing model and a sliding load compartment cover.
